Early Music Workshop

Sunday 9th December

2.15 - 3.45pm

Coten End workshop Warwick CV34 4NP

Following the success of previous workshops I am delighted to announce an Early Music workshop led by professional musicians from the Early Music ensemble Sirinu in partnership with Leamington Music

This workshop is suitable for instrumentalists playing strings, woodwind ( including recorders ) and brass who have at least 2 years playing experience and are around grade 3 - 5 in standard. This workshop is not suitable for beginners.

Please fill in this google form to register your interest.

Children should bring their instrument with them but they will have the wonderful opportunity to try out some of the early music instruments from our remarkable stock that includes:

wooden recorders

We need to know in advance who is attending so that we can ensure we have the correct music for the different instruments.

Sirinu are also performing at St. Marys church Warwick on Tuesday 11th December, our senior Early Music group, County Waits, will also be performing.

I am speaking as a parent! Thank you for a great night of music. Mum and I really enjoyed the concert. The pirate group sounded fantastic and then each group presented a new level of playing. I know how hard everyone works behind the scenes and it was a luxury to just be able to sit and enjoy.

As a Warwickshire Music member of staff I was very proud of all the pupils and staff.
Thank you

Refers to Warwickshire Arts Centre Concert - March 2016

Saw the concert in Warwick Arts Centre, absolutely amazing! I am a Grandmother, not on Facebook or Twitter, but went to see our Granddaughter playing violin in Area Strings. What a wonderful thing music is and Stringfever blew me away with their talent. Thank you to everyone concerned in the teaching and production of these concerts.
