Early music comprises all music from the earliest times up to the Renaissance, and includes our Tudor Band and the Midlands Canzona.
Jacqui Robertson-Wade, an experienced viol player and teacher, is the co-ordinator of the Warwickshire Early Music Academy (WEMA), which exists to co-ordinate and develop performance opportunities for Early Music groups throughout the County.
Warwickshire is a national leader in viol playing and teaching and has established links with Trinity College of Music, London and Birmingham Conservatoire, offering teacher training to young professionals.
